The Leadership Conference provided chief volunteer officers and chief staff executives the opportunity and time to explore priorities for the upcoming year and determine how best to work together to meet the needs of members and the profession. The AICPA Fall Meeting focused on keeping the profession vital and relevant in the future. During the AICPA Fall Meeting, Meyer was officially elected to a three-year termon the AICPAGoverning Council. The council is the governing body of the AICPA and consists of approximately 265 members and representatives from every state and U.S. Territory.
