Societ y Commi t tees to Meet The Society’s Annual Committee Organizational Meetings have been scheduled for Wednesday, May 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Quarry Oaks Golf Club in Ashland (Exit 426 off I-80). All committees except the CPE and Ethics Committees will meet. Society committee members should have received an email and Outlook calendar invitation. The Society Board of Directors will hold its quar terly meeting the same afternoon at Quarry Oaks. Society Welcomes New State Board Member In other news, congratulations to Jeff Kanger of Lincoln. Kanger was recently appointed by Gov. Pete Ricketts as a public member on the Nebraska State Board of Public Accountancy, serving a four-year term. He is an executive vice president with First State Bank Nebraska and is an alumnus of the University of Nebraska College of Law and Northwest Missouri State, where he graduated with honors majoring in political science.
