McMill CPAs & Advisors in Norfolk has donated $25,750 to establish an endowed scholarship to benefit an accounting student attending Northeast Community College each year. The firm has made several past donations as well, including a $50,000 contribution to the Nexus campaign to build the college’s new agricultural facilities. The new McMill CPAs & Advisors Scholarship fund will provide an annual scholarship to an accounting student from the 20-county area served by the college. The student is required to have a minimum 3.0 GPA, with preference given to students intending to transfer to Wayne State College to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
