CPA: Where Trust Meets Expertise

A new initiative is underway for the profession: the CPA Trust campaign. This national effort is designed to raise awareness of the value CPAs deliver every day and to strengthen understanding of the profession across business, communities, and the broader public. The campaign highlights what sets CPAs apart: deep expertise, high standards, and a foundation of trust built through licensing, ethics, and oversight.

Built For — and Powered By— the Profession

Developed by the American Institute of CPAs in collaboration with state CPA societies, CPA Trust reflects input from across the profession and a shared commitment to telling a stronger, more unified story.

The campaign is designed to reach audiences at scale through:

  • A national campaign video across business and news programming;
  • Digital and social storytelling featuring real CPA impact; and,
  • A dedicated website, TrustedCPA.org, showcasing the profession’s value and reach.

Together, these efforts reinforce a simple but powerful idea: CPAs are trusted partners for what matters most.

Watch, Share, and Bring the Story to Life

This campaign is not just about visibility — it’s about participation and local amplification. Get involved by reposting AICPA social content, sharing a link to the campaign video at TrustedCPA.org, or posting about the campaign and what it means to you. By lending your voice to our shared message, you can help strengthen recognition of the profession and expand its impact.

The American Institute of CPAs®(AICPA) and its predecessors have served the public interest for 137 years. In 2017, AICPA joined with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants®(CIMA) to form AICPA & CIMA, a powerful alliance that promotes accounting and finance in every corner of the world. We serve 580,000 members, candidates and registrants in 150 countries and territories, empowering them to create a brighter tomorrow for the profession.
